Description
Fish, seafood and vegetables are some of the most delicious things you can cook on the grill - and you'll be successful in no time. If you use the small Weber® drip moulds, the ingredients will come up a bit from the grill, so they won't burn as easily. You can also use the moulds to put your roasting rack in, so the juices and flavours from the meat drip into the mould, giving you the perfect base for a delicious sauce. It's also easy to sauté bacon, vegetables and more in the moulds while the meat finishes grilling on the side. It's easy, you get many new possibilities at the barbecue and you don't have to worry about cleaning up after a pleasant barbecue evening.
Tips & Tricks
Place the roasting tray in the drip tray so that the juices and flavours from the meat drip into it. Just before serving, remove the roasting tray and place it directly on the grid. Strain the gravy from the drip tray and use it as a base for a delicious sauce.
The 50/50 grilling method gives you the perfect conditions to use your drip trays alongside the meat. Place all the briquettes on one side of the grill and leave the other side empty. Now you can grill directly over the briquettes and indirectly on the other side. If you're cooking a steak, it's a good idea to sear the meat over direct heat and then move it to indirect heat, where it can finish grilling. In the meantime, you can use the drip trays to cook your side dishes over direct heat.
