If you have a smaller gas grill or Performer® with gas ignition that you use often, it can be an advantage to connect the grill to a gas bottle instead of using disposable tubes. It's easy, and if you're grilling for a long time, it reduces the risk of running out of gas in the middle of grilling. With this conversion kit, which consists of a hose with a regulator, you simply screw the hose directly onto the grill's existing regulator and you can connect the gas bottle. Switching between disposable tubes and large 5 or 10kg gas bottles couldn't be easier.

Tips & Tricks

Remember to regularly check the LPG hose for leaks. You can do this by wetting the connection with a soap solution. Check for bubbles. If bubbles form or if a bubble grows, it means there is a leak. If you find a leak, switch off the gas immediately and DO NOT use the grill. Check that the connection between the hose, valve and manifold connection is tight.
