About Pappelina

Pappelina plastic rugs

Pappelina is a Swedish design company that works with interior design from concept to finished product. The plastic mat, which is Pappelina's flagship product, had been virtually forgotten before Pappelina put it back on the map. The company's hallmark is its combination of quality and function – it firmly believes that simplicity is the key to longevity. With extensive knowledge and a long tradition of craftsmanship, many new shapes and colours have been added over the years, giving Pappelina a strong position in the market.

The range of plastic mats includes lots of colours and sizes, including door mats, entrance mats, outdoor mats and large mats in colours such as white, blue, black, multicoloured and many more.

The perfect outdoor mat

One trick when it comes to outdoor décor is to create a cosy environment. An easy way to increase the cosiness factor in your conservatory or on your patio is to buy an outdoor rug. Rugs from Pappelina are perfect for outdoor use and patios. The rugs are made of 90% plastic foil strips and 10% warp yarn (polyester). This material choice results in an outdoor rug that dries incredibly quickly while offering good colour fastness and requiring minimal maintenance.

Environmentally friendly

Pappelina rugs are manufactured in Sweden from Swedish plastic film. The PVC plastic film strips are manufactured in southern Sweden by Gislaved Folie AB. The foil is made from new plastic, which ensures that Pappelina's rugs do not contain any environmentally harmful heavy metals or harmful plasticisers.
