We have been talking for some time about the need for a table for the Joy and Vilamoura sofas. I feared that making a table that fits several different pieces of seating furniture could easily become a table that fits less well with most things. Eventually I realised the importance of the table's own identity, that the table brings something to the meeting with the sofa or chair. That's how I think Seriff works; as a clear and independent piece of furniture that complements the character of the sofa or chair. / Mårten Cyrén
