Inspired by the refined simplicity of traditional Japanese stick chairs, the Nama Lounge Chair combines natural materials with thoughtful design to create a timeless and minimalist aesthetic. The name Nama, which means ‘raw’ and ‘natural’ in Japanese, reflects the chair’s honest craftsmanship and the deliberate reduction of its form to its very essence.

Every wooden detail is carefully shaped, rounded and joined with a focus on both function and aesthetics, creating a sculptural yet understated silhouette. Light in appearance but robust in construction, the Nama Lounge Chair fits perfectly into relaxed and stylish environments.

A distinctive feature is the upholstered backrest, inspired by bicycle bags from Copenhagen. Secured with two simple straps, it adds both comfort and character, whilst the fully upholstered seat provides a soft and inviting feel – ideal for reading, conversation or quiet moments.

The armchair is available in three carefully selected material combinations: Natural Oak with nubuck leather, Oak Coffee Black with black aniline leather, and Oak Coffee Black with Linen Sand. Each version offers its own character – from warm and natural to bold and modern.
