The Nebra Series by New Works is designer Lukas Bazle's poetic take on the classic pleated ceiling lamp — where tradition meets contemporary dynamism in one sculptural form. Its adjustable plissé shade in durable PES textile can be shaped with a gentle sweeping motion, shifting effortlessly between soft ambient glows and intimate, focused downlight. Equally at home above a dining table, in a lounge, or a bedroom, the Nebra pendant is a celebration of interactive design and timeless craftsmanship.

New Works was founded by Nikolaj Meier and Knut Bendik Humlevik with the vision of creating a design studio where every product is crafted with care, intention and a desire to explore new creative expressions. Whilst Nikolaj oversees the company’s operations as CEO, Knut leads the creative direction as Creative Director. Together with a dedicated team, they develop a collection of unique yet accessible design objects for the modern home.

New Works operates at the intersection of old and new, light and dark, design and art. The brand draws inspiration from the strong Scandinavian tradition of craftsmanship and material expertise, whilst challenging conventional forms through contemporary design. Through collaborations with internationally recognised designers and craftspeople, products are created that combine sculptural expression with honest and genuine materials.
