Byarums Bruk gave Mårten Cyrén the task of creating a neat piece of seating furniture, adapted for short-term sitting. With places like bus stops, doorways and shop entrances in mind, he took on the task. The result was Piccolo - a sofa with a moulded end in slim dimensions, which together with three planks, one for the back and two for the seat, becomes a piece of seating furniture with small dimensions - small and flexible enough to be placed where it is needed.
