Podium, Maxi - Limestone

Podium is a sculptural platform that brings a serene, gallery-like presence into the home. Both stage and architecture – a place where meaningful objects can be showcased and given their rightful place.
Inspired by the raw clarity of brutalism and the ornamental expression of façades, the hand-carved reliefs capture the light and reflect it, creating shifting patterns of shadow as the day progresses. In this dialogue with light, Podium itself becomes a living object.
In the Maxi version in limestone, the architectural expression is further enhanced. It adds height and presence to the room whilst maintaining a calm and balanced appearance. With no distinct back, it can be placed freely in the room or used as a natural focal point.
Crafted from natural limestone, shaped over millennia, each piece bears a unique history within its layered structure. Smooth surfaces meet hand-carved details where stillness and movement interplay. Subtle variations in tone, texture and natural imperfections highlight the material’s origins, whilst the soft, sand-coloured surface adds warmth and depth.
Podium can be used as a pedestal, side table, coffee table or as a sculptural object in its own right. When combined with smaller sizes, it creates a dynamic, multi-level whole that enhances the architectural expression.
