When grilling on one of Weber's larger gas grills, it's inevitable that grease and food residue will drip onto the bottom of the grill. If the residue is left behind, flames can erupt, destroying the food on the grill grate. It can also cause a grease fire that can destroy the grill itself. It is therefore important to remove dirt and grease residues. The best way to do this is to clean the bottom of the grill with a Weber scraper and brush the insect mesh on the burner tubes clean with a suitable brush.
