Description
Selandia is sea air, garden party and modern nostalgia. A wooden series with a romantic touch in its recognisable curved shapes, which has retained its Scandinavian character despite a certain French accent. Selandia is designed by Skagerak.
Material: Teak
Teak is unrivalled as a material when it comes to outdoor furniture that is exposed to greater wear and tear in everyday life. Teak is a dense and hard wood that is rich in natural oils and heartwood. The heartwood allows the wood to resist rot, and the natural oils keep the wood fibres together, thereby avoiding major cracks and splits. All this gives the wood a unique durability for outdoor use and a surface that turns into beautiful silver-grey shades and you can leave the table outside without having to oil it. Skagerak has been working with teak since the 1980s and has the necessary knowledge to select the best trees from premium plantations in Indonesia and Cantral and South America.
