The Fortano from Glatz is a high-quality side-mast parasol that combines stylish design with exceptional stability. Its solid construction, flat roof and advanced manufacturing techniques make it a reliable companion even in windy environments.

The intelligent synchronous mechanism allows the parasol to be opened and closed simultaneously with a smooth crank movement. The high hanging height makes the Fortano particularly popular in the catering industry, where it can be set up without disturbing the table setting. For extra flexibility, there is also a swivelling base that allows the parasol to be rotated 360 degrees.

Like all F-series parasols, the Fortano is designed to withstand windy locations. With a ground mount, it can withstand wind speeds of up to 55 km/h at a roof size of 300 cm.

In addition to the skin, sunscreens must also protect against strong UV rays. If a sunscreen is frequently exposed to the sun, the material will fade over time. How quickly and to what extent the colour intensity is lost depends on the lightfastness of the fabric. The higher the material grade, the lower the lightfastness and consequently the longer the fading period. The light fastness of GLATZ fabrics is determined according to the ISO 105 802 standard.

Material class 5 100 % polyacrylic approx. 300 g/m², lightfast, colour fastness 7 – 8, UV PROTECTION > 98 %, dirt-repellent, oil- and water-repellent, rot-proof finish.
