This functional free-hanging parasol from Glatz is a large parasol with an elegant frame. SOMBRANO® S + can be easily opened and closed at the same time using a self-locking crank mechanism on both sides. Thanks to the self-locking mechanism, SOMBRANO® S+ can be simultaneously extended, opened and closed, while the parasol can be tilted 54 ° on both sides in 18 ° steps using the tilt rod and rotated 360 ° thanks to the swivelling foot. Due to its size, SOMBRANO® S+ is ideal for larger outdoor areas.
 

In addition to the skin, sunscreens must also be protected against strong UV rays. If a sunscreen is frequently exposed to the sun, the material will fade over time. How quickly and to what extent the colour intensity is lost depends on the lightfastness of the fabric. The higher the material class, the better the light fastness and consequently the longer the fading period. The light fastness of GLATZ fabrics is determined according to the ISO 105 802 standard.
 

Material class 2 100% polyester approx. 220 g/m², colour fastness 5 - 6, UV PROTECTION > 98%, easy-care and dirt-repellent, anti-rot surface treatment. Ideal protection against direct ultraviolet radiation. Not recommended for locations exposed to wind. Colours 100 - 199.
 

Material class 4 100 % polyester approx. 250 g/m², solution-dyed staple fibre, colour fastness 7, UV protection > 98 %, easy-care and dirt-repellent, anti-rot surface treatment. Ideal protection against direct ultraviolet radiation. Recommended for locations exposed to wind. Colours 400 - 499.
 

Material class 5 100 % polyacrylic approx. 300 g/m², solution-dyed, colour fastness 7 - 8, UV protection > 98 %, dirt-repellent, oil- and water-repellent, anti-rot finish. Ideal protection against direct ultraviolet radiation. Recommended for locations that are highly exposed to wind. Colours 500 - 699.
