The High-Tech series is a collaboration between designer Nisse Strinning and Grythyttan Stålmöbler.

The collaboration has resulted in a simple & functional series with a timeless design language. The industrial design mixed with that special "Grythyttan swing" has made the High-Tech series a big favourite for many. The furniture in the series is durable - and they are also completely maintenance-free!

GRYTHYTTAN STÅLMÖBLER, A CLASSIC

Grythyttan Stålmöbler är a family business in direct descent. The current CEO Karl Lindqvist's grandfather Artur was the blacksmith who changed his specialisation from the production of horseshoes to the manufacture of furniture. He bent the first barrel for the Stockholm exhibition in 1930, and then began manufacturing a whole series of wooden furniture. Grythyttan Stålmöbler is the company behind the classic A2 chair with its gentle rocking motion. The A2 chair has laid the foundation for much of Grythyttan Stålmöbler's range of outdoor furniture.

TIME-LESS OUTDOOR FURNITURE

The design language is heavily influenced by the functionalism of the current era. Throughout history, all kinds of furniture such as school desks and camping tables have been produced, but the focus has always been on chairs, sofas and tables for outdoor use. Form and function have always characterised Grythyttan St å & lm ö & bler and the company's history is strongly linked to Swedish furniture history. The cultural heritage is managed and developed with pride, and today they are located in Grythyttan, in the beautiful forest landscape of Bergslagen.
