Grythyttan Stålmöbler's A2 armchair is a timeless classic designed back in the 1930s by Artur Lindqvist. The armchair has been found in gardens, outdoor cafés and beer gardens ever since and is a faithful servant in Grythyttan Stålmöbler's range.

The frame is made of solid spring steel, which gives the armchair a long lifespan and the soothing sway that is so well known. Although the armchair has frames, it is stackable and practical for winter storage when not in use.

GRYTHYTTAN STÅLMÖBLER, A CLASSIC

Grythyttan Stålmöbler är a family business in direct descent. The current CEO Karl Lindqvist's grandfather Artur was the blacksmith who changed his specialisation from the production of horseshoes to the manufacture of furniture. He bent the first barrel for the Stockholm exhibition in 1930, and then began manufacturing a whole series of wooden furniture. Grythyttan Stålmöbler is the company behind the classic A2 chair with its gentle rocking motion. The A2 chair has laid the foundation for much of Grythyttan Stålmöbler's range of outdoor furniture.
